Abstract

The goal of this work is to account of the inscriptions, the movement and the displacement of the partial impulses and their defensive resources, at a time prior to the constitution of the secondary repression with the dissolution of the Oedipus complex, from which the pulsional destinies may be oriented as destinations of the subject. Our hypothesis is there is a time prior to the sublimatory activity in which sublimatory potentiality is established. Since symbolization is a pre-requisite for sublimatory activities, it is necessary to situate the attainment of this capacity of symbolization in the psychic happening (Geschehen). The topics covered in the present work contribute to the development of the theoretical framework of the Research Project “Playing as a sublimatory activity. Processes of symbolization in children and adolescents of the city of La Plata: an exploratory study” belonging to the chairs Evolutionary Psychology I and Clinical Psychology of Children and Adolescents of the Faculty of Psychology of the University of La Plata (UNLP).
