Salud mental y prácticas profesionales de los psicólogos en instituciones públicas: resumen de investigación

Abstract

The objective of this paper is to present a research summary. The purposes of the research are: - To state the devices and strategies that have been developed by teams of professionals and technicians who work in mental health institutions, and detail the conditions of internment and “externalization” that are developed in public institutions of mental health. We use methods of social research and qualitative research. The principal techniques to run this exploratory and descriptive study are the semi- structured interview and the participant observation. We have established a sample that has been limited/restricted to mental health institutions of La Plata and the periphery of La Plata.
