Abstract

Getting the foundations of Psychoanalysis going confronts us with a vast work not exempt from contradictions and aporias. In order to preserve the fecundity of this paradigm, we propose to test some Freudian theorizations by analyzing the internal coherence of their arguments and their corroboration with the phenomena relayed in clinical practice. The aim of this work is to analyze the way in which the transmutation from sexual to quiescent energy in the interior of the infant psyche would take place, as well as to question ourselves about the prerequisites that the adult should bring to make this recomposition possible. To that end, we will inquire about the status of eroticism and tenderness in the psychic subject as determinants of various psychopathological manifestations. Conceptualizing the specificity of connected and disconnected aspects of the psychic apparatus allows us to identify the different modes of symbolization that can be presented in the subjectivity of the patients we receive in the consultation. That is, key metapsychological tools at the time of constructing the diagnoses that will guide the particularity of our interventions.
