Abstract

This article presents the issue of human vulnerability, his treatment in Human Rights, the main developments in Bioethics and its possible application to psychological research. There are profuse discussions on Scientific Ethics, but there are few developments and applications to our discipline and its research. The study belongs to the theoretical developments in the framework of research projects of the Psychology Faculty of the National University of La Plata (Incentive Program for the University Teachers), referring to psychological research designs and their components methodological and ethical. The purpose is an updated reflection on the concept of human vulnerability as a principle, descriptive and normative, and its consideration in social and human research, particularly Psychology. It is concluded that the exercise of responsible prudence turns research into a framework that is not only legal, but above all, through a quality ethos that raises the level of excellence of the scientific role, taking into account the autonomous /vulnerable condition of the participant.
