Abstract

In this simulation study, we aim to justify the proposed modification of the intersection between Autopista Riccheri and Autopista Ezeiza-Cañuelas, given the congestion caused by the current design. We have modified one of the sections of the intersection from a cloverleaf design to a stack design, reducing the average crossing time by more than three minutes and the number of vehicles affected by delays when crossing the intersection by more than 90%.
