Abstract

This paper presents the modeling and implementation of a system control of variables such as humidity and temperature in order to monitor environmental conditions remotely. The experience is focuses on the germination stage of hydroponic cultivation. For this purpose, it designed, built and installed three root germination chambers floating with control systems and telemetry through the Internet. The chambers were built with 50 L. capacity PVC containers, this feature allows portability to the chambers. The control system of these cameras was developed with low-cost SBC boards and the system configuration allows the use of the Arduino board, which has analog inputs, both to connect the humidity and temperature sensors and to control the interior environment of the cameras. through the process of forced ventilation. The results show that the chambers built guarantee a homogeneous and non-variable environment for germination.
