This paper describes the beginnings of the Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science at the Faculty of Mathematics, Astronomy and Physics of the National University of C´ordoba, and the importance of the Fund for the Improvement of University Quality (Fondo para el Mejoramiento de la Calidad Universitaria) program, coordinated by the Secretariat of University Policies of the National Ministry of Culture and Education, in the improvement and consolidation of this degree program.
