Blockchain application proposal to the pork supply chain in Misiones

Organizations are going through the fourth industrial revolution, the food industry is not exempt from this phenomenon, added to a growing public demand for traceability from the origin of what is consumed. The pork industry is seen as a market to carry this out, given its rising situation both at the national level and in the province of Misiones and making use of technology could be the answer. Therefore, in this article, a traceable production chain is proposed through Blockchain for the Misiones pork industry, in order to achieve an unalterable and consistent record of the order, sequence and tasks carried out in each link of the production chain. For this, a review of existing bibliography on the subject and interviews with different experts are used, resulting in an additional feasibility analysis of its application from technological, technical and economic aspects.
