Abstract

Design of a 256-bit block cipher, with a 128-bit key, and a 256-bit initialization vector, based on the structure of a Feistel network, with two parallel cipher algorithms, with Propagation Cipher Block Chaining (PCBC) mode. The first algorithm consists of a 3-interleaved sequence with a unique primitive polynomial, originated by a 71-bit Linear Feedback Shift Registers (LFSR). The second algorithm consists of a 2-interleaved sequence with a unique primitive polynomial, produced by a 67-bit Linear Feedback Shift Registers (LFSR). Finally, the obtained ciphertext was subjected to a set of statistical randomness tests.
