The semantic search of documents is a subject widely studied in the academic field. However, the implementation of these technologies in the software industry still remains a challenge. Much of this is because semantic technologies are only now mature enough for reliable implementations. The objective of this work is to show the incorporation of semantic technologies to search for documents in the Signar platform of the company Lyris IT S.A.S. This work shows how research carried out at a University adds value to companies to enhance their products and make them more competitive in the international market, incorporating innovative technologies.
