This paper describes and analyzes the experience of bringing cybersecurity to secondary school students in the Buenos Aires province, Argentina, in the context of the UNLP project "Extension in connection with secondary schools". The relevance of incorporating these contents in compulsory education is analyzed, understood as the fundamental area of citizen education, where the inclusion of Information Technology (specifically cybersecurity) contents in curricular designs is proposed as urgent and at the same time guide a construction of professional vocations. There are local and regional experiences that address cybersecurity in schools, however, the novelty of this proposal is the approach adopted: holding Capture The Flag events aimed at secondary schools in the area of influence of the UNLP, which allow knowledge to be built in a playful methodology. The experiences and learnings from the events carried out are described in terms of content selection, modality, team formation and teaching role. Finally, the results obtained from student and teacher surveys are presented, which reveal the students' interest in continuing to participate, and the teachers' interest in the tool and the didactics used.
