To enable the sharing of skills and resources, research collaboration has become fundamental to scientific progress. This work reports a process to identify and analyze the collaboration network between institutions in the field of agro-informatics research in Argentina, based on the works published in the annals of the ten editions of the Argentine Congress of agro-informatics, as well as recognizing the geographical scope of the event. The methodology was based on the application of Social Network Analysis techniques, which allowed identifying the most participatory institutions in the context of Agro-informatics in Argentina. 270 papers with 1112 authorships from 702 different authors were analyzed. The results emphasize the relevance of the National Institute of Agricultural Technology (INTA) and the National Council for Scientific and Technical Research (CONICET) as catalysts for research in this area. It is expected that the results presented here provide elements to help government agencies to establish policies to strengthen research and development of Argentine Agro-informatics.
