Abstract

The present paper deals with the relation between efficiency and profit maximization in a stock version production set considering the results obtained by H. Nikaido in Convex Structures and economic Theory, N. York, 1968. Chap. IV. The production set will be given such a hypothesis so as to ensure that goods involved in a profit maximization process will have the same price as input or output. Besides, this hypothesis will make stronger the efficiency relation as well as the different properties a stock version production set may fulfill.
