El crecimiento de los chatbots en las administraciones públicas argentinas

The paper presents the preliminary results of a research that surveys and analyses the government chatbots that are being designed and implemented both at the national and provincial levels in Argentina. Through this research, we seek to answer questions such as: How many chatbots are active in Argentinean public administrations (both at national and provincial level)? Is it a new, recent phenomenon, or has it been occurring for several years? Are these chatbots useful? How do they work and under what infrastructures? How do they impact the relationship between citizens and governments? From the beginning of this study carried out, both at the national administration level and in several provinces, it is possible to identify the existence of several active and fully operational chatbots. At the same time, several provinces are in the design stage of these assistants but have not yet implemented them in government portals. This paper is part of a larger research that seeks to analyze how artificial intelligence is used in the public administrations of Argentina.
