Knowland management on waste treatment and final disposal processes within the framework of enterprise architecture: Citrus case study
Keywords:
knowledge management, SECI model, enterprise architecture, supply chain, citrus waste processingAbstract
Incorrect final disposal of solid citrus industry residues generates pollution problems due to its acid pH and high concentration of organic matter, to which is added its residues produced by wastewater from different processes. Industry must ensure the correct disposal of the residues it generates and involve staff from different organizational levels of each area in this policy. To ensure actions are carried out, it is necessary to implement an appropriate framework such as Enterprise Architecture (EA), which will allow identifying, analyzing, modeling and aligning different concurrent aspects with the proposal. In addition, the EA allows traceability of the programmed actions. Once processes have been identified and analyzed, the information has been collected and considering our objectives, we apply the SECI model as part of the Knowledge Management (KM) that, ideally, will lead to improving the use of citrus residues.
