Abstract

The digital transformation represents a great opportunity for the public sector to improve the services offered to the population. Such a transformation, in addition to a guideline, implies the knowledge and appropriation of innovative concepts that do not only include the technological. Integrability is the ability to integrate/unify digital services on interoperability in ecosystem environments. In this context, an DIE (Digital Integrability Ecosystem) works as an important tool for the creation of public value, facilitating the appearance of new services and the improvement of existing ones. This promise could not materialize without having a set of minimum rules that delimit what is possible, even before the appearance of new technologies. Digital urbanism implies the development of technical and legal standards that ensure a sustainable evolution, without blocking technological innovation. The DIE standardization process defines a model that guides the transformation towards digital ecosystems, based on increasing levels of data, process and service integration. This work reviews the theoretical bases and practical experiences of EDI and its normalization, as members of the digital society, carried out, in progress and projected, in the field of Argentina.
