The current tendency of facing curricular developments from a pedagogical competence perspective constitutes a valuable opportunity for rethinking educational activities. Taking this into account, we present a case study about one teaching practice systematization. It is a reflection about the process of carrying out project based works in the programming courses frame, particularly Object Oriented Programming, based on a critical review of the previous planification from a pedagogical competence point of view. The main proposal was the elaboration of an integration project that was held along the whole course. This integration project consisted in coding a videogame using the Wollok Game tool, which is a library that allows the interactive graphic interfaces development in Wollok, an educational software. This experience took place in three public Argentinian universities, during eight courses which shared objectives, resources, tools and pedagogical perspectives.
