About the Journal

■ Focus and scope

Meteorologica is a refereed semestral journal of Centro Argentino de Meteorólogos (CAM), which is published  since 1970.

Meteorologica publishes original papers in the field of atmospheric sciences and oceanography written in Spanish or English.

Theoretical and applied research description, dataset description, extensive reviews about a particular topic related with atmospheric sciences or oceanography are within the journal scope. Papers must be original and concise. Meteorologica publishes one volume (two issues) per year.


Meteorologica is indexed in SCOPUS, included in LATINDEX catalog and the SHERPA/ROMEO and DOAJ database. It is also part of the Core of Argentine Scientific Journals since 2005.

Since volume 46 number 1 (2021), every publication in the journal have a unique and permanent identifier (DOI, Digital Object Identifier), resource provided by the Universidad Nacional de La Plata.

The journal reserves the right to accept or not the contributions received, in accordance with its thematic scope and in compliance with its editorial standards.

The opinions expressed by the authors of the articles are their exclusive responsibility.

 

■ OPEN ACCESS

Meteorologica promotes and supports the open access to knowledge as a common good, so the journal provides immediate and complete access to all its content and its editions are free of charge for authors and readers, under the principle that offering society the scientific and academic production without restrictions contributes to a greater exchange of global knowledge.
