Abstract

¿Qué relación hay entre asimilación y significación? Asimilar un cuadro sensorial o un objeto, es insertarlo en un sistema de esquemas. Asimilar es incorporar a un esquema, o sea, a una totalidad organizada. Vamos a decir esto es también atribuirle significación. Generalmente cuando se habla de significación, se la ubica en un nivel representativo, o sea, cuando se habla de significación se habla de signo y se habla de símbolo. Relacionar el concepto de asimilación con el de significación nos llevaría a hablar de significación antes de lo representativo. La importancia de esta relación es, que tipo de significante o qué tipo de significación es la que corresponde a un nivel que todavía no es el de la representación.
