La asistencia psiquiátrica y las actitudes colectivas ante la enfermedad mental

Abstract

Para centrar nuestro análisis nos circunscribiremos al concepto de que la enfermedad, en un modelo psicológico, es un monto excesivo de an­siedad para la capacidad del sistema o subsistema implicado, en un mo­mento dado, lo que traerá aparejada la necesidad de recurrir a mecanis­mos arcaicos y estereotipados para el control o descarga de dicha ansiedad en cualquiera de los niveles señalados.
