Abstract

This paper presents a theoretical survey of the basic ideas related to the problem of economic regulation and deregulation, with the aim of setting guidelines for future research in this field for Argentina. It includes some elements of the present theory of natural monopoly that must serve as a basis for the corresponding legislation.
