Abstract

The primary objective of this document is to evaluate the impact of a political action consist in the diffusion of domestic workers rights. This action was carried out by the Argentinian Ministry of Labour and Employment, in 2017, by sending postal letters to homes with high probability of being domestic workers´ employers. We find that the diffusion of the domestic workers rights had positive and statistically significant impact on the workers registration. The letter´s impact was 0,22 percentage points, resulting in 2 homes on one thousand who received the letter, registered a domestic worker, comparing to none from the control group.
