Abstract

Some macro-political facts as globalization and the tendencies to the creation and consolidation of free economic areas determine a new context of more and variable rules. Moreover, some microeconomic facts as the technological change that accelerates the rechanging of assets, the continuous innovation of productive and technical processes, determine the need to make changes in the models of decision to support the competitivity of firms. Apart from this, highly important tools as computers should allow the improvement of decision making processes done with elements partially or scarcely interrelated. This paper shows that it is possible to include most of the essential components of the quantitative models of decision making in an analytical structure defined for the exhaustive evaluation and the integral optimization of the firm.
