This paper studies complementarities between firm exports, investment in technology and firm-level wages, on average and by worker type. Using data from ENDEI for the years 2010-2012 we find that exporting firms pay higher wages than non-exporting firms, and that the wage premium is higher for firms that export to developed countries. We also find evidence of higher wages in firms that invest in technology, and that the wage premium is increasing in the worker’s position in the firm’s employment hierarchy.
