Sobre la aplicabilidad del análisis por función de producción para Argentina: análisis de un caso

Abstract

This paper considers the applicability of neoclassical analysis –based upon productions functions- on the Argentine case. Katz' book has been taken as the point of reference. It is criticized the lack of adaptation of the assumptions to the reality. An alternative explanation is presented, taken into account effects derived from changes in the relative prices agriculture-industry, from movements of birth and death of industries, and from increments in the degree of markets imperfection.
