Media coverage if femicide and its possible consequences

Abstract

This work shows some results of a research on violence against women in media production processes, genre representations, discourses and media content. Different television cultures off er diff erent narrative forms and through them suggest several views of the society. Media coverage of femicide could infl uence violence against women.
