Genre violence and public hospitals
Abstract
Our assistance to victims of genre violence in the Department of Social Work at Dr. R. Rossi Hospital has made us reflect on our intervention. Most of the cases are addressed in an uncoordinated way by agents from the municipal, provincial and national government. The obtained solutions are partial, unclear and isolated and so it is difficult to offer a comprehensive treatment. The creation of interdisciplinary professional groups in all public hospitals is necessary. They should give definite answers to those who needs assistance and expects to recover their violated rights through our interventions.
