Current paradoxes of the master signifier

Abstract

Th e crisis of the image of Father formulated by Lacan is thought here in terms of paradoxes, and which continues with the resurgence of the maternal superego. The ideal and the object are presented as sources for the subject when it is impossible for him to find the way towards the enjoyment that he cannot deal with through the classical Name-of-the-Father artifice.
