José Ingenieros was born on April 24, 1877 and died on October 31, 1925. The magazine Us dedicates an extraordinary number (December 1925) where the figure of the Master is analyzed and exalted to which he is credited with having produced Ideals capable of linking the generations to come. His death appears as a sacrifice whose officers and beneficiaries are represented by the discourse of the university: "In the cemetery of the West," writes Us, the series of speeches began the Minister of Public Instruction, Dr. Antonio Sagarna. After him they spoke: Professor Nerio Rojas, representing the University of Philosophy and Letters; Dr. Carlos Sánchez Viamonte, on behalf of the student councilors of the Faculty of Law; Our director Roberto F. Giusti, as delegate of the generation that in 18 began in Cordoba the university reform; Arturo Orzábal Quintana, representing the Latin American Union; The Minister of Mexico, Dr. C. Trejo Lerdo de Tejada; Vicente A. Fiori, for the Center of Students of Medicine and Argentine Medical Circle; Julio R. Boats, on behalf of the teachers and Pedro Alcántara Tossi in the one of the Brazilian youth ".
