Seeking to implement the generation of engineers prepared in specific competencies in accordance with their field of expertise, we present this classroom experience that becomes a didactic proposal in the area of Basic Sciences in the Information Systems Engineering degree course.
Our aim is to generate didactic application strategies in the Mathematical Analysis II subject area, in accordance with the competencies of the Information Systems Engineer graduated from the National Technological University - La Plata Regional Faculty.
These will be based on professional competencies using problem-based learning, fieldwork, exemplification of contents, and oral presentation of knowledge.
This project was generated and applied by students from the aforementioned degree course, in the Mathematical Analysis II of Basic Sciences syllabus, using Absolute Extremes - Gradient Descent Technique as the work content.
It arises from the need to problematize the knowledge surrounding the field of engineering in question, in order to bring students in this field closer to real situations and experiences, with the aim of allowing them to visualize the application of the knowledge of Basic Sciences from the start of their degree course.
