Abstract

Quantum computing is transforming strategic areas such as cybersecurity, finance, logistics, the pharmaceutical industry, and materials development, among other key sectors. Given the growing demand for professionals specialized in this field, this paper presents an integrated curriculum for training in quantum computing, aimed at students of the Faculty of Engineering at the Pedagogical and Technological University of Colombia (UPTC). The curriculum design is geared toward engineering programs and includes modules on Fundamentals of Quantum Computing, Quantum Algorithms, and Practical Applications in Engineering. In addition, active teaching-learning strategies are incorporated to ensure a solid assimilation of concepts. This proposal seeks to train engineers capable of leading innovation in the quantum era, promoting technological and social development from an interdisciplinary approach.
