The panel "Mechanisms for Knowledge Transfer" brought together experiences from three Argentine universities, focusing on their different institutional strategies for innovation and technological transfer. The importance of creating different offices to centralize functions related to technology transfer activities and the professionalization of staff was highlighted, whether through Secretary of Innovation and Technological Transfer, as in the case of the National University of Córdoba, or Development Centers capable of working with local tech-based companies, as in the cases of the National University of La Matanza and the National University of Tres de Febrero. Beyond the diverse circumstances that generated them and the different and non-traditional institutional projects, these three universities emphasize the importance and positive results obtained through intellectual property management, technological oversight, the valorization of research results, and funding advice. This contributes to both business competitiveness and the sustainability of scientific work, in addition to enabling curricular updating and the development of entrepreneurial skills in both scientists and students.
