This paper analyzes the institute of amparo for mora as a tool available to citizens in the face of the silence of the Public Administration when they have exercised their right to petition the constitutionally and conventionally enshrined authorities. Thus, it is specifically attempted to trace the jurisprudential evolution in the Province of Tierra del Fuego in relation to the institute, making special reference to who should bear the costs in this judicial process.
