Argentine Geodesy
Historical synthesis
Abstract
In this brief document we will try to account for the most significant historical milestones in its development, beginning by mentioning that in 1899 Argentina participated in world geodesy, as expressed by Wolfgang Torge, former president of the International Association of Geodesy, at the commemorative conference of the 150th anniversary of the AIG held in Potsdam in the year 2013.
