Incendios generados por rayos en la zona central de Argentina

En base a la hipótesis de que las descargas eléctricas son la principal causa natural de generación de incendios en este trabajo se estudian las condiciones bajo las cuales estos eventos son desarrollados en la zona centro-sur del paı́s. Inicialmente se lleva a cabo una caracterización general de la actividad eléctrica atmosférica y las condiciones meteorológicas en la región entre 2012 y 2021. También se analiza la distribución y las caracterı́sticas de los incendios ocurridos en Argentina desde octubre de 2018 hasta diciembre de 2021 lo que permite la construcción de una base de datos con esta información. Se selecciona un caso de estudio cerca de Bariloche, provincia de Rı́o Negro, identificado como causado por descargas eléctricas y se analizan las condiciones meteorológicas de la zona tanto en los dı́as previos como durante el incendio. Para esto se utilizan datos de redes de localización de descargas eléctricas (WWLLN y ENTLN), de reanálisis (ERA5) y de la estación Bariloche Aero del Servicio Meteorológico Nacional (SMN) para los estudios meteorológicos ası́ como información proporcionada por el Servicio Nacional de Manejo del Fuego (SNMF) sobre la ocurrencia de incendios en Argentina.
