Adopción de big data: ¿tiene un gran impacto en el éxito del crowdfunding en las pymes?

Resumen

Propósito – Uno de los problemas de las MIPYMES es el capital limitado que tienen para construir su negocio. La presencia de la plataforma de Crowdfunding es una solución para que las MIPYMES encuentren inversores para financiar sus negocios. El problema es que no todos los inversionistas quieren financiar a estas MIPYMES y, como resultado, muchas MIPYMES no obtienen fondos del crowdfunding. El propósito de esta investigación es averiguar si la adopción de Big Data puede afectar el éxito del crowdfunding. ¿En este caso, hacer que los inversores se sientan más seguros para invertir?

Diseño/metodología/enfoque: este estudio recopila artículos sobre la adopción de big data en las pymes en la base de datos Emerald Insight. Además, también recopilamos artículos de la investigación realizada por Deng et al. en 2022 sobre los factores que influyen en el éxito del crowdfunding.

Hallazgos: descubrimos que la adopción de big data puede representar varios factores que influyen en el éxito del crowdfunding. En otras palabras, si los actores de las MIPYMES aplican big data a su negocio, es muy probable que se ganen la confianza de los inversionistas y reciban los fondos que necesitan.

Originalidad/valor: esta investigación proporciona una descripción general para que los actores de las MIPYME consideren la adopción de big data en su negocio. Si los actores de las MIPYMES lo han implementado, además de tener un buen efecto en las operaciones comerciales, también les resultará más fácil obtener el éxito del crowdfunding.

Mario Andaru Fatah, Economics and Business Faculty, Sebelas Maret University, Surakarta, Indonesia.

Fatah Mario Andaru, S.Ak, is a master of accounting student at Sebelas Maret University, Surakarta, Indonesia. Apart from having academic activities, Mario also works in accounting application provider and consultant services for MSMEs, namely being the director of PT. Teknologi Karya Ekakarsa (T-REX), which provides innovative financial technology for MSMEs. He earned a bachelor's degree when he graduated from Bachelor of Accounting, Sebelas Maret University, Surakarta, Indonesia in 2021. Mario received a Trainer certificate from the Digital Entrepreneurship Academy organized by the Indonesian Ministry of Communication and Informatics (Kominfo) and often coaches MSMEs training in the field of financial management and digital marketing. On the other hand, Mario is very interested in future prospects related to technology, finance and business, so he often attends startup and business events as a speaker or moderator.

Dra. Y. Anni Aryani, M.Prof.Acc., Ph.D., Ak., CA., CSRS., CSRA is an associate professor in Accounting Department, Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Sebelas Maret (UNS), Surakarta, Indonesia. She got her first degree from Economic Faculty, Universitas Sebelas Maret, Surakarta, Indonesia at year 1991. She hold master degree (Master of Professional Accounting) from Queensland University, Brisbane, Australia at year 1999 and achieved her Ph.D degree from Victoria University, Melbourne, Australia at year 2009. Currently, Dr. Anni teaches undergraduate, master and doctoral students in Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Sebelas Maret, Surakarta, Indonesia. She also actively conducting research, publication and doing community service activities. Dr. Anni has numerous research publication in reputable international journal as well as national accredited journals. She is a member of board editor of Jurnal Akuntansi dan Bisnis, an Indonesia accredited journal published by Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Sebelas Maret, Indonesia, and she also reviewer of many international journals as well as national journals. Besides her university activities, she also active in Solo Raya Accessible Tourism (SRAT). SRAT is a social community organization aims to increase people awareness in disability issues and inclusions especially in tourism industry.
