UNA APROXIMACIÓN DE LA SÍNTESIS DE CUMARINAS POR EL MÉTODO DE PECHMANN BAJO LOS PRINCIPIOS DE LA QUÍMICA VERDE

Resumen

Las cumarinas son compuestos ampliamente utilizados en la industria y su síntesis ha sido llevada a cabo por diferentes métodos. Uno de los métodos más estudiados es la condensación de fenoles con ?-cetoésteres para la obtención de cumarinas sustituidas; sin embargo, su obtención se da con el uso de catalizadores ácidos homogéneos. En esta revisión, se enuncian algunas metodologías benignas con el medio ambiente para la síntesis de cumarinas sustituidas, presentando gran atención en procesos libres de solvente y el uso de radiación microondas y ultrasonido, como alternativas de mejoramiento de síntesis de cumarinas
