Comportamiento coyuntural de la economía argentina 1950-1969
Abstract
During the period 1950-69 in Argentina coexisted a fluctuating economic activity and a variable inflationary rate, although with no clear relationship between them. An explanatory model of economic behavior is developed under the assumption that the rate of inflation is governed by expectations, the exogenous components of aggregate demand and the effect of inflation on economic variables being the determinants of activity level. A quantitative assessment of the various sources of economic instability (investment variability, Governments spending, agricultural production, exports and imports of capital goods) is included as well.
