Abstract

The paper presents, firstly, a descriptive synthesis of the main features on the argentine spatial system, as revealed by the latest research on that field, which made use of a gravity model. Secondly, the paper proceeds to analyze the specific forms of insertion of the Patagonic and the Chubut Province economic spaces into the argentine regional system. Finally, the characteristic features of the Chubut economic space are studied on the basis of existing evidence.
