El aprendizaje por la experiencia y la estrategia óptima de producción para la empresa
Abstract
Some microeconomic implications of the "Learning by Doing" hypothesis are analyzed in this paper. Assuming the entrepreneur maximizes the present value of the future stream of benefits and that the efficiency of the production process depends on the cumulates amount of production from the beginning of the firm`s productive activities, the optimal production strategy for the firm is obtained by using tools of the optimal control theory. It is shown that, there being learning possibilities, the level of production attained at each moment when following the optimal strategy is greater than the one derived from the static benefits maximization strategy.
