Abstract

In these pages we address four cases of structural litigation in the field of disability rights, led by the Human Rights and Disability Clinic of the School of Law at the National University of La Plata (FCJS -UNLP). Drawing on the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities, we’ll present some of the common features of the cases, as well as the several social, economic and institutional difficulties they reveal. We'll also present some reflections on the importance of re-elaborating our litigation strategies based on past experiences.

In this way we aim at signifying the clinical praxis as a critical legal experience that connects action with theory, that requires a high commitment to work, and which makes us inhabit the human rights model from within its tension with the world.

So, let's go with three verbs for action: criticize, work and dwell.
