Abstract

For more than a decade, forced displacement in the world has been breaking historical records, surpassing 82 million people by 2020, which is equivalent to 1% of the world's population. Faced with this gloomy scene, the international protection of refugees increasingly requires legal professionals with specific training and a vocation for service in the humanitarian field, an area that is perhaps little known but that absolutely redefines the meaning and practice of the profession.
