Inclusion and accessibility in Higher Education: Strategies to promote an inclusive educational environment

In this article, we will address the intersection between higher education, accessibility, and inclusion, and explore how educational environments that respond to students' diversity needs can be promoted. First, we will look at the concept of accessibility in the context of higher education. Secondly, we will delve into the concept of inclusion in higher education. We will discuss how higher education institutions can foster inclusion through policies, programs, and practices that promote the active participation of all students. Subsequently, we will explore the challenges and barriers that still exist in higher education in terms of accessibility and inclusion. Finally, we will present strategies and practices that can be implemented in higher education to foster accessibility and inclusion.
