Abstract

The objective of this work is to provide a new occurrence record of the Asian clams Corbicula fluminea and Corbicula largillierti in the Jacarecica River, northeastern Brazil. Data about abundance and size classes of both species are also provided. These findings contribute to a more comprehensive assessment of species distributions in the northeastern Brazilian region.
