Resumo

The twenty-three species of Parabezzia known to inhabit the Neotropical region are revised; fourteen species are fully described and illustrated, and a diagnosis is provided for each of the other nine species. Nine species are new: balseiroi, brasiliensis, clastrieri, cayoensis, hondurensis, inaequalis, pallida, pseudunguis, and raccurti. A diagnosis and description are given for the genus, and a key is presented for the recognition of each species.
