Author Biography

  • Paula Mercedes Romero, Instituto Nacional de Epidemiología Doctor Juan H. Jara (INE) (CONICET, Argentina)

    Paula Mercedes Romero es licenciada en Psicología por la Universidad Nacional de Mar del Plata (UNMDP) y becaria doctoral del CONICET. Se desempeñó como docente en la Facultad de Psicología de esta casa de estudios, donde también integró un grupo de investigación sobre ética, lenguaje y epistemología. Desde el 2022, es docente de Medicina (UNMDP), donde codirige un proyecto de extensión. Sus temáticas de trabajo se centran en salud mental comunitaria, promoción de la salud, ética, trabajo en ruralidad, género y en análisis del sistema público de salud, desde un enfoque cualitativo. Además, realizó una maestría en Psicología de la Intervención Social y Comunitaria en la Universidad de Sevilla, España, y se formó en la Diplomatura en Salud Mental Comunitaria de la Universidad Favaloro. Actualmente es docente de posgrado en temas de promoción de la salud y ética de investigación en el Instituto Nacional de Epidemiología Dr. Juan H. Jara.
