Abstract
The present work approaches certain Freudian works on the separation between neurosis and psychosis. The hypothesis is analyzed on the existence of varied, neurotic and psychotic phenomena, this is, the phenomena that appear of the same form in both categories. One concludes that the expression " phenomena mixed " is not correct, in the measure that Freud examines the phenomenon always in an articulated way and not of solitary form, that is to say, the characteristics that assume these depend on the position that is assumed opposite to them. Finally one proposes the expression " mixed positions ".
