ACERCA DE LA ORIENTACIÓN PSICOLÓGICA EN DIFERENTES CAMPOS

Abstract

This paper approaches, in a brief review regarding the features of Psychological Orientation in graduate and postgraduate degrees, the different criteria of the practice itself and its modalities in the different fields of the professional activity: Educational, Business, Healthcare, Legal and Public Politics, adding a special mention to the important role of Investigation in all fields. The importance of interdisciplinary work and the difficulties involved in its achievement are also considered. Furthermore, there is also a position regarding implications or requirements of Psychological Orientation considering its complexity, due to the contextual changes and populations’ subjectivation and socialization processes. These last imply challenges while they demand new strategies and interventions which can be applied in Comprehensive Health. Meanwhile Psychology is expected to contribute with its whole epistemological, conceptual and methodological potential, with enough openness and social sensitivity towards issues that concern and/ or affect society.
