Resumo

The release of volume 6 of the magazine finds us at a very eventful moment. First, the publication Orientation and Society, which used to be a production by the Psychology Department of the School of Humanities and Educational Sciences of the Universidad Nacional de La Plata, has come to be part of the new School of Psychology since September 2006. This constitutes a milestone in our discipline since, after almost 50 years, we have become an independent Academic Unit, accredited by a long period of high teaching standards, research and community outreach programs.
