Desde fines del siglo XIX, como parte de la modernidad, se produce una nueva forma de conocimiento del mundo que trae aparejada consigo una conciencia de crisis y, con ello, la caída del lenguaje como espejo del mundo. Desde entonces, el silencio pasa a jugar un rol decisivo; a la vez que resiste al lenguaje lo enfrenta con sus propios límites. Dentro de este contexto significativo, la pregunta que nos formulamos es la siguiente: ¿cómo “traducir” lo inexpresable en el  silencio? Esto implica dar forma a todo aquello que, por su imposibilidad de ser nombrado, no se expresa a sí mismo por completo.

Abstract

           Since the end of the XIX century within modernity, there appears a new form of knowing the world that carries a crisis of conscious and as a consequence, the fall of language as the image of the world. From that moment onwards, silence takes a decisive role; it resists the language and at the same time faces it with its own limits. Within this significant context we answer ourselves: how can we translate the non-expressed in the silence? This implies giving form to everything that, since it cannot be named, is not expressed thoroughly in itself.
